Joint 21 st Birthday Party.

During the summer, amongst working for festivals, I organised mine and Eliza’s joint birthday party on their farm. We planned to strip the cattle sheds of shit and decorate them up with hoarded props and a limited budget. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN, if not a little stressful. Their was a barn dance, live music, DJ’s, cider bar and Hog roast for all our closest friends. The whole event was a totally success and I can wait to do another one!

Shell Shelters

Miniature houses made from Porcelain, Shells and bark.

Work from my Art foundation degree. I’m revising this work to help inspire my new project on Miniature Moments, as part of my degree show.

Nozstock 2015

Working at Nozstock this year was a delight. As part of the decor team I helping make Nozstock pretty for all its spectators.

I  was asked to make this years wooden sculpture that gets ceremoniously burnt as the end of the festival. In previous years I’ve worked with a group of friends building a giant cactus that also got burnt.  This year it was a giant comet that had buried itself in the hillside.

Making a Giant Puppet Avatar

For Nozstock 2015 I turned a giant caveman puppet into a big blue avatar. Each year at Nozstock there’s a theme to inspire and unite the creative teams and the spectors costumes. Last year it was prehistoric (hence the caveman) and this year it was ‘Hitch hikers guard to the galaxy’- so sic-fi crazy.

The transformation was fun and quick, with a few coats of blue paint and some clever spray painting.

As always the puppet is a joy to perform with, people of all ages are in awe of the massive creation, but a big thank you to the big strong men inside the puppet!
